Georgia Southern University Eagle Cyber Camp provides teens computer instruction
Eagle Cyber Camp is a fun, interactive opportunity for students to develop computer skills beyond those taught in most schools. It will be held July 16-20 at Georgia Southern University.
Limited to rising sixth- through 12th-graders, Eagle Cyber Camp sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. This camp, in its fourth year, is presented by Georgia Southern University’s College of Information Technology (CIT) and the Continuing Education Center. Campers will work in a CIT computer lab to create, illustrate and animate a Web page of their own, using the same software programs taught to Georgia Southern freshmen.
Attendees with previous programming experience will be able to work on more complex self-developed projects. Previous computer experience is welcome but not required.
The $315 fee includes daily lunch and break. Registration closes on July 3.
