Georgia Southern University music ensembles will perform on Nov. 4

Two ensembles from the Department of Music at Georgia Southern University will perform recitals on Sunday, Nov. 4, at First Presbyterian Church in Statesboro.

The Brass Chamber Ensemble will perform at 3 p.m. and the Magellan String Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m.

In honor of National French Week, which the University will celebrate from Nov. 2 through Nov. 8, the Magellan String Quartet will feature works by Debussy, Chausson and other masters of Impressionism.

There is no admission fee for either recital. First Presbyterian Church is located at 1215 Fair Road.
