Georgia Southern included in Forbes America’s Best Midsize Employers 2018 list

Joining the ranks of company stalwarts like Penguin Random House, Blue Cross Blue Shield, ESPN and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Georgia Southern University has been included in Forbes list of America’s Best Midsize Employers 2018. Of the 500 midsize companies listed the University took the No. 203 spot overall and is one of 11 Georgia-based companies to make the cut.

To create the list, Forbes joined with the leading global market research company Statista to survey 30,000 Americans who work for midsize businesses, which consists of 1,000 to 5,000 employees, and large companies with 5,000-plus employees.

Participants openly shared their opinions and rated the likeliness of recommending their employer to others. They were also asked to suggest businesses other than their own to add to the list. Results were compiled based on the 500 large and 500 midsize employers with the most recommendations.
