The Georgia Southern University Business Innovation Group (BIG) will participate in “Global Entrepreneurship Week,” Nov. 17-22. Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), a Kauffman Foundation initiative, is a worldwide celebration of the innovators and job creators that bring ideas to life.
“This represents a number of things that speak loudly and boldly about what Georgia Southern is and where we are going,” said University President Brooks A. Keel, Ph.D. “We are a university on the move and are always looking for ways to better serve our students and community. This is one more way in which we can tell the world that we are different, and we are special.”
“Georgia Southern University recognizes that an ethical, efficient and effective work environment is essential in our continuing effort to successfully accomplish our mission,” said Brooks A. Keel, Ph.D., president. “Fraud, waste and abuse directly impact our stewardship responsibilities and the well-being of individuals within our campus community.”
“Engaging in partnerships with Gulfstream allows Georgia Southern to continue to have a significant impact on preparing students for the workforce and strengthening communities for many generations to come,” said Brooks A. Keel, Ph.D., president of Georgia Southern University. “It’s companies like Gulfstream that help open doors to other opportunities with companies that have similar needs and goals. Together we can make a difference in the lives, communities and companies of our city, state and region.”
