Henderson Library with the Wagon, teaching students stress and sleep management to help lessen the burden of final exams. It contains aromatherapy lotion and healthy snacks, as well as sleep and stress management educational techniques. Students can look forward to workshops that include breathing, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation segments and a myofascial release clinic to give students the opportunity to take a short break from their “all nighter.” The myofascial release clinic will teach students how they can utilize foam rollers and tennis balls as an alternative medicine therapy for stress relief, promote better sleep, treat skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, release trigger points, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles. The previous Stress Less Wagon, which took place during midterms week in October, was a great success with 222 students participating. The Wagon is sponsored by Health Services and funded through the student health fee. Students must have their Eagle Card or know their Eagle Card number in order to participate.
