There is {snow} way Georgia Southern alumna Rachel Lawlor’s (’09) True Blue spirit can be dampened! She and her husband made a Georgia Southern snowman during a snowstorm in Dublin, Ireland!

Alumni share True Blue, American pride in Afghanistan

Brad Holmes (’15) and Alberto Llavona (’16), old friends from their time in the ROTC program at Georgia Southern, met while deployed in Afghanistan. Both in the United States Army, the two did not expect to reconnect overseas. Holmes is in the 82nd Airborne Division, and Llavona is in the 4th Infantry Division.

Young students go True Blue thanks to teacher Beckie Kersey

Sometimes, it’s hard to contain your love for the Eagle Nation. Double Eagle Beckie Kersey (08′, 10′) couldn’t wait to share her True Blue pride with her students!

“Today [was] ‘College Shirt Day’ at the school where I teach third grade. Some of my students didn’t have a college shirt to wear. I was super excited to give them a Georgia Southern shirt to wear!”

Thanks for sharing your Southern pride, Beckie!
