Georgia Southern graduate admissions specialist Naronda Wright appointed to national board of governors

Naronda Wright, a graduate admissions specialist for Georgia Southern University’s Jack N. Averitt College of Graduate Studies, was recently appointed to the governing board of directors for NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, during its 2018 annual conference in New Orleans.

Wright has held various leadership roles on the organization’s annual conference planning committee since 2015 and served as co-chair of the most recent conference.

“The main benefit of the NAGAP is the knowledge gained through attending the annual conferences and professional development institutes,” said Wright. “I have gained a network of colleagues in graduate education that I can tap into to help me excel in my position and problem-solve issues that I may face.”

When asked what she hopes to accomplish in her two-year term, Wright remarked, “I hope to help make the first international conference in Toronto a huge success, and a starting point for future international conferences for NAGAP.”

NAGAP is a professional organization of approximately 1,500 members that is devoted exclusively to the concerns of individuals working in the graduate enrollment management environment. Its mission is to support, advance and engage graduate enrollment professionals by promoting integrity, excellence and collaboration through education and professional development.
