Georgia Southern’s Master of Health Administration named one of most affordable degrees

Georgia Southern University’s Master of Health Administration (MHA) program has been named one of the most affordable healthcare administration master’s degree programs for 2018-2019 by HealthcareAdministrationEDU.org.

The MHA program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) and is housed in the Waters College of Health Professions. The program strives to develop leaders who possess the values, knowledge and skills to manage optimal delivery of healthcare.

“The MHA program has traditionally been ranked in similar types of ‘Best Value’ lists among graduate health administration programs nationwide,” said Joseph Crosby, Ph.D., MHA program coordinator and professor of health sciences. “Such rankings, along with CAHME accreditation, has allowed us to be competitive with much larger and well-known MHA-types of programs from a recruitment standpoint.”

To be eligible for the ranking, the program had to be accredited by CAHME, and programs were evaluated on total base tuition and program quality.
