Georgia Southern’s START NOW events in January provide expedited admission decisions
Prospective and former undergraduate students who want to attend Georgia Southern University for the spring semester have a unique opportunity to start now through events designed to fast-track the admission process.
START NOW events provide unprecedented access to the University through same-day admission decisions, access to Financial Aid counselors while waiting for an admission decision, and academic advising if admitted. Some students may need to take a college placement exam prior to receiving a decision and can do so on-site that day.
Start Now events are offered at the University’s Armstrong Campus in Savannah on Jan. 3, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., the Liberty Campus in Hinesville on Jan. 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and the Statesboro Campus, Jan. 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Spring semester classes begin on Jan. 14 on the University’s three campuses in Statesboro, Savannah and Hinesville.
Interested individuals are encouraged to register online to attend the event for the campus at which they wish to enroll. They may also complete their Georgia Southern University application online for free. Students should obtain official copies of their transcripts from all schools attended prior to the event.
