Georgia Southern faculty delivers keynote address at Poetry Institute of China

Richard Flynn, Ph.D., professor of English in the Department of Literature, delivered a keynote address titled “Poetry for Young People in Anti-Poetic Times” at the Poetry Institute of China’s “1st Symposium on the Current Situation and Future Development of Children’s Poetry.” The event was held Aug. 18 through Aug. 23 in Hongcun, China.

The symposium was co-sponsored by The Poetry Institute, Danzeng College of Humanities, Peking University’s Academy of Chinese Poetry, and its School of Foreign Languages.
