Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art students present senior art exhibit, ‘Perspective’

Senior Art Exhibition, "Perspective"

Georgia Southern University’s Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art will host its senior art exhibition “Perspective,” from Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 13 at the Fine Arts Gallery on the Armstrong Campus. Admission is free and open to the public.

The exhibition features the works of six multidisciplinary student artists who call themselves the Six Sensus. They include Kimberly Barron, Lauren Boivin, Sarah Jones, Jamel Richardson, Autumn Shade and Morgan Zichettella.

The artists said that “Perspective” has been a collaboration where “we as a group share our individual views, ideas and talents,” and added, “Through our efforts within this show we are happy to express our experiences with art and working with each other.”

The pieces by Six Sensus represent various mediums, including sculpture, paintings, photography, printmaking, drawings and mixed media. The closing reception will be held March 13 at 5:30 p.m.
