Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art hosts online exhibition ‘Pixels: Graphic Design Senior Portfolio Show’

The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art on the Georgia Southern University Statesboro Campus is hosting “Pixels: Graphic Design Senior Portfolio Show” online through June 19. The dynamic online show highlights the portfolios of 18 senior graphic design majors.

“I am extremely proud of the graphic design class of 2020,” said graphic design professor Santanu Majumdar. “They not only produced professional work for their portfolio show but worked diligently on various client projects which were immensely challenging. Though there was a huge disruption of the class due to COVID-19, our students fought back the adversity and completed their courses as shining stars. This is an extraordinary situation and none of us were prepared for the uncertainty and the technological challenges, but it did not stop them from moving forward to their success. The class of 2020 makes me extra proud, and I congratulate them on their achievement.”

This year’s exhibition features Alexandria Allen, Maya Allen, Ra’Kel Brown, Parker Brummel, Ashley Callahan, Taylor Carter, Cameron Chambers, Cayley Creekmore, Morgan Croft, Henvil Grant Jr., Zachary Harris, Ashley Kramer, Tanner Maxey, Robbea Pierre, Phillip Riggs, Christaje Roach, Briyanna Ruff and Charlotte Serff.
