Advisor Amanda Beasley receives national award from NACADA professional advising association

Academic advisor Amanda Beasley was recently announced as a winner of a national award by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). She received the association’s Certificate of Merit for the Outstanding New Advisor Award – Primary Role. 

Beasley is recognized for her efforts to go above and beyond to ensure that her students are supported both academically and holistically. She has served on the advisement team in the Waters College Health Professions Advisement Center on the Statesboro Campus since July 2018. 

NACADA is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators and students working to enhance the educational development of students. The NACADA Global Awards Program for Academic Advising honors individuals and institutions making a significant impact on academic advising.
