Register your little Eagles for the i²STEMe Experience Summer 2017

Little Eagles from elementary to high school ages can increase their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), this summer through the i²STEMe Experience Summer 2017 at Georgia Southern University.

Registration is open for the i²STEMe Experience Summer 2017 camp programs.During the Eagle i²STEMe Experience, students will be challenged to imagine, plan, create, improve and inquire in collaboration with their instructors and their peers.

Each camp engages students and encourages exploration and investigation by teaching them how to evaluate problems and design potential solutions in real-world scenarios. Students are also encouraged to learn to apply the engineering design process which combines practical knowledge and their natural creativity to devise potential solutions to some of today’s issues.

Some of the courses offered are Girls – Hop To It, a science-based, hands-on nature day camp where girls will learn about reptiles and amphibians; Eagle Expedition, a unique marine science camp with STEM experiences; and two engineering STEM camps: Gear It Up, where students will conduct research experiments designed specifically for intelligent vehicle programming, and The Creators, a camp that introduces the fun of engineering. Learn more about all the courses offered here.

All Eagle i²STEMe Experience programming is created by Georgia Southern faculty who are experts in their fields, and will be monitored and evaluated to ensure that students are engaged in the application of STEM fields, along with the necessary ‘soft skills’ to create, collaborate and communicate to a variety of audiences – all while having a blast!
